Doorkijkvers

#Doorkijkvers is a self-initiated participatory poetry project created for Poëzieweek 2026. The project was developed and realized in collaboration with Creatief Schrijven vzw and Zwartopwit.

The project takes the form of an A6 card with a circular cut-out that functions as a lens. By framing a small detail in their surroundings, participants are invited to slow down, observe differently and write a short poem inspired by what they see.

Responding to the Poëzieweek 2026 theme Metamorphosis, printed on the front of the card, the intervention explores how a simple shift in perspective can transform everyday scenes into language.

Distributed across Flanders and activated in schools, libraries and literary spaces, #Doorkijkvers connects visual perception, writing and public space.

Recare About Shoes - Living Lab

How can we encourage people to extend the lifecycle of their shoes?

This question shaped a participatory workshop developed for LUCA School of Arts and presented at WONDER Festival in Mechelen. To make the research tangible, we introduced On&On, a prototype sneaker-care brand designed to spark conversation.

The workshop was supported by a modular, lightweight setup made from cardboard cylinders, designed for easy installation across different locations. After WONDER Festival, the setup travelled to two Torfs Schoenen stores, where it continued to engage audiences in discussions around shoe care and sustainability.

Alina Cristea

Personal and playful visual identity for Alina Cristea, built around a custom icon set inspired by her world — from her work to her love of pretzels. Starting with hand-drawn doodles, I developed a unique visual language that carries through every element of the brand, including a 4-panel perforated business card perfect for exhibitions and spontaneous sharing.

Future of Fashion

Graphic design across various mediums for the Future of Fashion hub, organized by okret at Circuit Antwerp in 2023. The pop-up event focused on raising awareness about sustainability in fashion, inspiring visitors and motivating them to start their own journey towards more sustainable practices.

The Sound of a Shared Intimacy

The Sound of a Shared Intimacy - Leonie Persyn’s Ph.D. project - explores sound(ing), listening and collaborating in performance practices. In dialogue with A Series of Suggestions and the expo Welcome to the Atelier of the Researcher-as-Dramaturg, the book invites readers to experience listening as an ever unfolding journey.

Fashion Accessories Design

Beyond traditional graphic design, I have a passion for fashion design. From branding and trims to hats and bags, I apply my aesthetic eye and sense of color across all mediums. All of the designs featured here were created entirely from scratch. This process involves everything from initial sketches to digital technical files, and includes global traveling for prototype evaluations.

Photography books: Metal Antwerp

Wintertuig

Wintertuig is an illustrative and graphic design event organized by TUIG. The 2024 edition took place on December 14th and 15th 2024 at the Corso cultural center in Antwerp.

For two days illustrators and graphic designers hosted the TUIG Market, with prints, zines, stickers, textiles, screen prints and books. Additionally, a poster exhibition was organized, centered around the theme of dinosaurs.

In response to the open call for this exhibition, I participated alongside my graphic design students. Both one of my students and I were selected to exhibit. This allowed me to share the stage with a talented student, showcasing our work side by side.

This poster was featured in the exhibition catalogue Het grote Dinosaurus Tuig Boek by TUIG.
