BUURTgedicht

BUURTgedicht is a community writing project in Berchem, Antwerp, bringing together 46 newcomers who wrote poetry in Dutch at their own level, supported by writing tutors from Creatief Schrijven vzw.

23 poems were selected and presented on A2 posters. The posters were displayed and distributed throughout the Berchem district, bringing the participants’ words into the public space.
